Position: part-time lectureship
(typical assignment is for a single quarter), subject to availability
and funding.
Minimum Qualifications: must
have completed all requirements for Ph.D. in History without the
dissertation and have a graduate field in the area in which they wish to
teach. The applicant must
have the ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and
culturally diverse campus community.
Duties: Teach one to three
courses in one or more of the listed areas, depending on enrollment
demand and lecturers specialties. Courses
that may need to be covered include U.S. survey, World survey, African
History, Ethnic Histories.
